Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI)
Norway supports the work of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) both as a donor and as an implementing country. We welcome the reporting of companies’ payments to governments under this initiative. We welcome the 2016 EITI Standard, in particular the requirements regarding beneficial ownership.
